Among the finalists in the Gift of the Year 2024 competition’s Heritage category is Marmalade of London’s exclusive collaboration with The National Gallery.
The National Gallery x Marmalade Masterpiece Collection has reimagined iconic paintings as scented fragrance, with the collection available in candle and diffuser formats from the end of March.
The company is the first home fragrance brand to collaborate with The National Gallery, with the collection featuring four uniquely blended candles that bring masterpieces – including Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Monet’s Water Lily Pond – to life by lighting them from within.
“Each flicker reveals a new brushstroke or a hidden detail, while blended aromas add a multi-sensory dimension to the experience,” explained Marmalade’s managing director Piers Flook.
A second licensing partnership for the company is the new Emily Smith x Marmalade of London collection, featuring vibrant colours and playful scents, with Marmalade matching Emily’s bold colours, whimsical motifs and energy with a specially blended range of naturally scented candles and diffusers. The collection features four of her iconic designs and will be available from March.
“We are excited to unveil our new collections and are proud that The National Gallery and Emily Smith have both chosen us to work with them on these exclusive ranges,” stated Piers.
