Merchandise service reveals its first marketplace partnership.
LyricFind’s merchandise service, LyricMerch, has confirmed its first marketplace partnership with eBay.
LyricMerch is licensed to create a range of merchandise bearing lyrics from fan-favourite songs – all of which are now available on the marketplace. As part of the partnership, LyricFind and eBay will also collaborate to create targeted merch campaigns that are tailor-made for shoppers.
Music fans and eBay customers will get their first taste of the collaboration this Christmas with a special LyricMerch gift guide.
“eBay is a trusted online platform for customers looking for unique gifts and niche items, which is what LyricMerch offers,” explained Darryl Ballantyne, founder and ceo of LyricFind and LyricMerch. “Having our products available on eBay and their global shoppers allows us to lean into a marketplace that already caters to our target audiences, making this a natural partnership.”
Darryl continued: “Licensing a lyric means more than just using it with permission. It means royalties go to the people who make music happen – the songwriters and rights holders.”
Chelsea Walsh, senior category manager of media at eBay, added: “Shoppers come to eBay for its breadth of rare, unique and right now inventory, from that one ‘I can’t believe I found it’ piece to the latest trending items.
“LyricMerch and its range of curated offerings will be perfectly at home on our marketplace, and shoppers will be thrilled to find that perfect piece of apparel or merch that reps their favourite artists.”
