Luxury clutch brand, Olympia Le-Tan collaborates with US pop artist, Tom Wesselmann

Luxury clutch brand, Olympia Le-Tan has revealed a new exclusive collection with the estate of US pop artist, Tom Wesselmann.

The new collaboration is being unveiled through a series of three drops, each showcasing unique, art-inspired clutches that pay homage to Tom’s celebrated works.

The collection features a total of 14 clutches, including many of the brand’s classic Book Clutches, as well as other unique shapes such as the Caviar and the 7-inch.

Tom Wesselmann was a prominent figure in the American Pop Art scene of the 1960s, and remains influential in pop culture today with his bold and monumental artworks.

The first and second part of the collection were released in April 2024 and July 2024. The third and last drop will be celebrated alongside the Tom Wesselmann retrospective at the Fondation Louis Vuitton starting 16 October 2024 in Paris. This exhibition will provide a magnificent backdrop, allowing art enthusiasts to experience Wesselmann’s original masterpieces until 3 March 2025.

“We are incredibly excited to work with Tom Wesselmann’s Estate on this unique collection,” commented Gregory Bernard, co-founder of Olympia Le-Tan. “Each clutch is a labor of love, reflecting the bold, colorful essence of Wesselmann’s work. We can’t wait for our customers and Wesselmann enthusiasts to experience this collection.”

Prices for the collection range from €1,350 to €1,980.
