Limited edition capsule collection launches in the US, inspired by streaming service’s new series on Roy Halston Frowick.
US luxury brand, Halston has collaborated with Netflix on a new limited edition capsule collection, inspired by the streaming service’s new series on the fashion designer.
The Halston x Netflix collection will feature ten pieces of eveningwear, reported Fashion United, and is inspired by signature archival designs. It will be available to pre-order exclusively on Halston.com from 7 June.
Costume designer of Halston – which stars Ewan McGregor as the fashion designer – Jeriana San Juan worked closely with Halston’s chief creative officer, Robert Rodriguez, to create the looks.
“Roy Halston Frowick single-handedly created luxury American fashion,” commented Robert. “Halston has always had a tremendous influence on my career, in an industry where his imprint remains decades later.
“I’m thrilled to now carry forward his legacy through this Netflix capsule collection in collaboration with Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. It was exciting to recreate the iconic Halston archive dresses that appear in the Netflix series and reinterpret them for modern-day. I am grateful to be part of this homage to Halston, who has inspired designers throughout the world.”
The collection – which can also be pre-ordered from Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus from 21 June and will be in-store in August – will retail between $995 and $1,595.
