Love Hearts sweets transform into ice lollies

Brand of Brothers reveals new line for the popular Swizzels property.

British sweet manufacturer Swizzels has teamed with Brand of Brothers to transform its Love Hearts sweets into a range of ice lollies.

Using genuine Love Hearts flavours including Cherry, Lime, Pineapple and Lemon, the range contains four pastel-coloured lollies with the fruity sherbet fizz.

In addition, each ice lolly stick features a message of love – staying true to the romantic heritage of the sweets – while the lollies have been designed to look like a classic Love Hearts roll.

Mark Walker, sales director at Swizzels, said: “Our Love Hearts brand has been around for over 60 years and is still as popular today as it was when it first launched.

“Brand of Brothers are delighted to be working with us on one of our most established brands, introducing Love Hearts ice lollies in time for the summer months.

‘‘We ensured that our Love Hearts messages were made prominent across the range as they are the essence of the brand. As a result, the lollies have been very well received by customers.’’

The product is currently on sale in Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Eden Farm Hulleys.

Swizzels has been making Love Hearts since 1954 and now produces 1.75 billion every year.
