Lord Alli joins CMC speaker line-up

Silvergate Media chief executive to take part in Children’s Media Conference in July.

The speaker line-up for next month’s Children’s Media Conference is continuing to take shape – with the latest licensing name to pledge support being Silvergate Media chief executive, Lord Waheed Alli.

The Labour peer will be taking part in the panel session ‘Making it Happen for UK Kids’.

The Question Time-style debate will kickstart the popular conference on Wednesday July 6 at 9.30am.

Other licensing figures involved with the Children’s Media Conference – which runs from July 5-7 in Sheffield – include Kelvyn Gardner and Ryan Beaird from LIMA UK, Rob Goodchild from Aardman, Helen McAleer from Walker Books, Tessa Moore from FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment and Gary Pope from Kids Industries.
