Loose Women mobile game on the way

ITV appoints Pointvoucher Studios to develop game based on popular daytime show.

A mobile game based on the popular ITV flagship lunchtime panel show, Loose Women, is on the way after ITV secured a deal with Pointvoucher Studio.

The show celebrates its 20th anniversary in the autumn, with Pointvoucher Studio’s word wheel puzzle game launching in July. It will be free for viewers to download and will offer hundreds of challenging word puzzles.

The game will also connect to the Pointvoucher reward platform, which allows players to earn points as they play. The points can then be for a variety of real-world products and services in the Pointvoucher Marketplace which includes w wide range of brands and merchants.

“We are delighted to be partnering with such an esteemed brand,” said Nicolai Elmqvist, ceo of Pointvoucher. “Loose Women is a much-loved programme and we are confident that the game will harness this popularity to create a consistent, engaged audience who will want to play.”

Neil Bowler, commercial development manager at ITV, added: “Mobile gaming has been a really interesting growth area for ITV as part of our ‘More Than TV’ strategy, and I’m delighted to be working with Pointvoucher Studio to launch the Loose Women game around one of our most recognisable and popular shows.”
