Halo sponsorships, projects with a key retailer and licensing deals signed.

London Entertainment is making strong progress with the MOBO brand – securing key partners across a number of projects including halo sponsorship, a key retailer and licensing deals.

Working with Harvey Nichols, LEI secured Fenty Beauty by Rihanna as an official backstage partner for the 2017 MOBO Awards – which took place on November 29 in Leeds.

Event Merchandising was also on board with MOBO merchandise which was sold at the show. Products were also placed with key artists including Fatman Scoop, Idris Elba and Richard Blackwood (pictured).

Powerstation Studios is on board as key designer on the brand style guide.

The show is aired in 200 countries with an audience of 400 million viewers around the world. Channel 5 aired the show live in the UK, with the audience seeing Stormzy pick up a record three of the five awards he was nominated for.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn also recorded a special message.

The show will also be aired on BET in the US and on various channels in Africa and other countries around the world.

Saphia Maxamed, founder of LEI, commented: “We are thrilled to be working with the most exciting international brand with rich history, legacy, cultural and diversity connotations.

“Having Fenty and Harvey Nichols on board, as well as Event Merchandising, at such an early stage of our licensing programme roll out is a huge progress for the brand.

“Having homegrown and global artists who are at the top of their game excited to wear MOBO merchandising is huge bonus.”
