Liverpool FC x Converse partnership continues with second collection

Liverpool FC x Converse have unveiled their second collaborative limited edition product capsule collection.

Due to launch later this month, the new collection aims to fuse inspiration from the rich history of LFC imagery with the diversity and creativity that reflects a new generation of global footfall fans.

Key pieces in the collection – which has been inspired by the club’s colours, architecture and typeface – include a limited edition unisex premium puffer jacket; Liverpool FC x Converse Chuck 70 high-top sneakers incorporating colour-blocking and gradient style inspired by LFC’s away colours; a Liverpool FC x Converse cotton jersey crew including illustrated LFC-inspired graphics; and the Liverpool FC x Converse Star Player 76.

The first limited edition capsule collection celebrated the diverse and creative nature of the club’s beating heart – its supporters. This second collection in the partnership celebrates the club’s history and champions its future, while paying homage to the supporters and anthems of Anfield.

It will also see the corresponding campaign ‘Creating from The Ground Up’ shift from inspiration to action as Converse provided a platform for featured LFC fans to create with Converse in the production of the campaign.

“Building on the success of the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership, we couldn’t be prouder to launch the FH23 collection and campaign, which celebrates the rich history of Liverpool FC, while bringing to the forefront the creativity of LFC fandom,” commented Steven Bramble, vp/gm Converse Western Europe. “To feature LFC fans’ creative work in the campaign is the natural evolution of ‘Creating from The Ground Up’ and really does enable, celebrate and support creativity in all its forms.”

Mike Cox, svp of merchandising at Liverpool FC, continued: “We’re excited to launch this second collection alongside Converse. Working in collaboration with the brand has given us something new and exciting to offer our supporters. It also celebrates our diverse fanbase and champions their creativity.”

The campaign features a cast of lifelong Liverpool supporters who are creatives in their own right: multi-discipline creative Dredz, singer/songwriter Pixey and artist Sterling Rose Kelly, alongside members of the men’s and women’s teams – Darwin Nunez, Missy Bo Kearns and Taylor Hinds.
