Company is now UK merchandise licensing agent for the brand.
Lisle International has added the classic Tetris brand to its portfolio – securing a deal to become the merchandise licensing agent in the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland.
The company will be focusing on opportunities in home goods, lifestyle items, collectables, clothing and more.
“Tetris is more than just a video game – it’s a lifestyle enjoyed by fans, both young and old, around the globe,” said Maya Rogers, CEO of Blue Planet Software, sole agent for the Tetris brand.
“The UK is the top market for Tetris, and we’re pleased to be working with Lisle International which has a reputation for building solid and effective brand partnerships for its customers.”
Gayle Tarrant, director at Lisle, added: “In the UK, where there is high awareness and positive affinity for Tetris, there is huge potential for the brand. We are excited to be a partner in developing a strong licensing programme that will further extend the experience for Tetris fans.”
In addition, busy Lisle has also been appointed by The Sharpe Company to build a programme around the artist, Zoobs.
Zoobs’ art has been featured in magazines including Vogue and Vanity Fair, with his most famous piece depicting Kate Middleton, referencing the Sex Pistols cover art, titled ‘God Save the Future Queen’. Designers Dolce & Gabbana used it to inspire a fashion collection, and the picture now sits in its flagship retail outlet in London’s Bond Street.
