The shortlist was confirmed at the LIMA UK Young Professionals Summer Party, held on August 3 at Nickelodeon’s UK HQ.

The award is designed to recognise excellence among junior licensing industry professionals in the UK.

The winner will be revealed at The UK Licensing Awards on Tuesday, September 11.

“LIMA wishes all nominees the best of luck – we received a record number of submissions this year,” said Ryan Beaird, marketing and operations manager at LIMA UK. “This was a major increase on last year and the judges found it very difficult to make a decision on the final six.

“LIMA is delighted the UK licensing industry is supporting the future of the business and nominating their extremely talented young licensing staff for this great annual award. We wish to thank Nickelodeon for hosting us and also our 2018 YPN events sponsor , Octane5.”

Marianne James, vp commercial partnerships, consumer products and experiences UK and Ireland at Nickelodeon, added: “We’re thrilled to have hosted LIMA’s Rising Star nominee event. Supporting up and coming talent in the industry is so important and we wish the nominees the best of luck.”
