Lifestyle brand, PLEASURES has revealed a limited edition clothing collection inspired by blur’s self-title album which is due for launch on 10 February.
Ahead of the band’s highly anticipated live return with two sold out shows at Wembley Stadium, London this summer, PLEASURES has created a clothing collection celebrating blur’s legacy as one of the most culturally influential British bands of all time.
The collection is inspired by the BRIT Award winning band’s discography, featuring a selection of iconic visuals and imagery associated with a band that first burst into our consciousness in the early 90s with hits songs including There’s No Other Way, Girls & Boys, Country House, The Universal, Tender, Beetlebum and Song 2.
“blur helped define a generation in the 90s with their sound and style, which, along with their iconic imagery, still feels fresh today,” commented Sophie Bishop, director, retail merchandise A&R at WMX. “We’re delighted we’ve been able to work with the band and PLEASURES on this collection.”
The collection consists of five skus – blur cardigan in green, blur hoodie, blur sweatpant, Song 2 t-shirt in two colorways )black and white) and Movin’ On t-shirt in two colorways (black and slate).
The band will play Wembley Stadium on 8 and 9 July.
