Licensing International France honours award winners

The winners of the Licensing International France Awards were revealed last week (9 March), with the ceremony closing the successful France Licensing Day.

The event was hosted by Christophe Drevet, FJP, Florence Ayem and Laurent Taieb, co-presidents of Licensing International France, and was attended by over 300 people.

In total, 150 submissions were received for this fifth edition of the awards, an increase of 15% over last year. The jury was composed of professionals representing all areas of the licensing industry.

Kicking off proceedings, the Young Professionals Network rewarded Clemence Oliviero from Bandai Namco Europe as the winner of the Rising Star category in France.

The winners of the Licensing International France Awards are:

  • Licensed Softlines: Hamac – Ernest & Célestine/Studiocanal
  • Licensed Hardlines: Astérix line x Playmobil/Les Editions Albert René
  • Licensed Collaboration: Balmain x Pokémon/The Pokémon Company International
  • Retail or Digital Activation: Le Nouveau Jouet @ La Grande Récré/Ludendo and Netflix @ Carrefour/Netflix
  • Promotion/Event: Uber x Disneyland Paris x Marvel/Faubourg Stories
  • Sport/eSport Brand: 24h Le Mans/Automobile Club de l’Ouest
  • Experiential Activation: Terminator 2: Judgement Day/Dream Factory
  • Lifestyle, Corporate or Celebrity Brand: La Patrouille de France/Arboresens
  • Licensee of the Year: Abysse Corp
  • Entertainment Brand: Naruto/Mediatoon Licensing
  • Licensor/Agent: Warner Bros. Consumer Products

 

In addition, three Licensing International Special Prizes were also awarded to Solex x E.T./Universal Products & Experiences; Le Petit Prince @ Musée des Arts Décoratifs/Sogex; and Le Rire Médecin.

The awards were sponsored by BrandTrends, La Plume Dorée, Sensape and UGGC Avocats.
