Licensing Expo issues status update amidst COVID-19 concerns

May show scheduled to go ahead as planned as organisers issue health guidance for exhibitors, visitors and staff.

The organiser of Licensing Expo has issued a statement amidst the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19 Coronavirus – with its current status remaining unchanged and the show going ahead as planned from May 19-21.

The statement made it clear that the organiser was ‘actively and continuously monitoring the situation’ regards the outbreak, in line with local and national authorities and public health advice and WHO guidelines.

The statement read: “The health and safety, wellbeing and experience at our events for our exhibitors, visitors and staff is our number one priority and our thoughts are with those who have been directly and indirectly affected by COVID-19.

“Our current status remains unchanged: Licensing Expo 2020 is scheduled to go ahead as planned from May 19-21 and we look forward to welcoming licensing professionals to Las Vegas. We are following local and national public health closely and you can expect to see:

  • Public Health messaging displayed and shared pre and during event
  • Strengthened hygiene, sanitization and availability of disinfectants
  • Additional medical support

“If anything changes, please rest assured that we will provide updates as and when necessary. Our website will remain updated and we will communicate any significant changes directly to exhibitors, visitors and other stakeholders.”

Further information and updates can be found on the official show website, www.licensingexpo.com.
