George @ Asda, Tesco, TruffleShuffle among retailers stocking festive character lines.
Today (Friday December 16) marks the official Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children – more licences than ever are seemingly appearing on the festive apparel, with several retailers stocking character offerings in their line-up.
George @ Asda has a variety of licensed Christmas jumpers featuring characters such as Peppa Pig, Where’s Wally? and The Grinch, while Primark has a Darth Vader version in its mens portfolio.
Meanwhile, Tesco’s Christmas jumper offerings include Disney ‘Happy Holidays’ and Bambi knits for women, as well as a Star Wars musical jumper and a Coca-Cola ‘Holidays are Coming’ truck design for men.
Sainsbury’s Tu Clothing brand, meanwhile, has a Minnie Mouse ‘Oh Deer’ design for children.
However, probably the undisputed retail king of licensed Christmas jumpers is TruffleShuffle.
The etailer has a plethora of designs featuring brands as varied as Star Wars, Miffy, Elf, Coca-Cola, Street Fighter, Jurassic World, Batman, Sonic the Hedgehog, Captain America, Button Moon, PacMan, Alice in Wonderland, Mr Men, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Sesame Street, Bambi and Mickey Mouse.
