Libertas Brands reveals agency representations for Fuggler brand across the globe

Ahead of this week’s Licensing Expo, Libertas Brands has appointed a number of agencies to help brand the Fuggler brand around the world.

Libertas Brands – which has all rights exclusively to the Fuggler brand from Spin Master – will continue to represent the brand across the UK and Ireland.

The company is now joined by Retail Monster for North America; Haven Global for Australia and New Zealand; Creative Minds for Japan; FIR Ventures for Greater China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan; and WildBrain CPLG for all other markets across the globe.

“We are delighted to have appointed world class agents across the globe as we head into Licensing Expo 2024, at a point where the Fuggler brand is building significant momentum with sell-out sales on our core plush business and new content launching weekly across all social platforms,” commented Mark Kingston, ceo and co-founder of Libertas Brands.

“We are excited to work with Libertas Brands and the Fuggler Brand,” added Michael Connolly, ceo at Retail Monster. “As Mark and team strategically build on the success of the toy range, introduce original short-form content, and engage fans in new and innovative ways, we’re looking forward to supporting the franchise’s expansion into new categories.”

Maarten Weck, evp global partnerships and licensing at WildBrain CPLG, believes that Fuggler is a “hugely unique brand” while Ikuko Kogiso, president at Creative Minds is “excited” to be part of the future of building the brand.

Tom Punch, md at Haven Global, added: “We love what Libertas Brands are doing with the brand. It’s really unique programme, lots of fun and the toy sales in Australia are incredible. We’re having fun building out the programme to support our big retailers and are expecting a fantastic 2025 with Fuggler.”

Mark Tse, vp licensing at FIR Ventures, concluded: “Fuggler is well loved by our team and our consumers. We are excited to work with the Libertas Brands team on this unique brand that is full of excitements and surprises. The Fuggler brand is serving beyond toys collectors; we have witnessed strong growth in multi levels of customer base. Our team is ready to take Fuggler to new heights with more categories and expansions to engage with our fans.”
