LEGO tops Superbrands 2018 consumer listing

Apple, Coca-Cola, Disney, M&S, Boots, John Lewis also included in 2018 top 20.

LEGO has topped the Consumer Superbrands 2018 listing, fending off competition from the likes of Apple, Coca-Cola and Disney.

The toy company was also number one in the Child Products – Toys and Education category in the annual listing, which identifies top performing brands in the direct to consumer and business to business markets.

Other key brands in the top 20 included Apple (3), Coca-Cola (5), Disney (6), Marks & Spencer (7), Boots (8), Heinz (9), BMW (10) and John Lewis (15).

Other notable category winners included Amazon (Retail – Entertainment & Gifts), Nike (Sportswear and Equipment), Manchester United (Leisure & Entertainment – Sport & Fitness) and LEGOLand (Leisure & Entertainment – Destinations) among others.

Meanwhile, Apple was number one in the Business Top 20.
