LEGO to open new stores in time for Christmas

Outlets will open in the UK, Netherlands and France in Q4 2019.

LEGO is to open a number of new stores in the UK and Europe in time for the key Christmas period.

In the UK, Birmingham’s Bull Ring and Southampton West Quay Shopping Centre have been earmarked by the company.

The new stores will have the widest selection of the latest LEGO sets – including licensed sets – as well as a host of play experiences, activities and events only available in-store.

In addition, The LEGO Group will also open two new stores in the Netherlands – an Amsterdam flagship and a Utrecht brand store – as well as an outlet in Marseille, France during Q4.

“Builders of all ages can visit and be inspired by the endless play opportunities inside our new LEGO stores in Birmingham and Southampton,” said Alison Wood, LEGO Stores UK, Benelux and Scandinavia district senior manager. “Whether you’re 1 or 100 there is something for you to get excited about.”
