LEGO teases Super Mario collaboration

Nintendo and LEGO both tease short clips on social media confirming the partnership.

LEGO is teaming up with Nintendo for a range of toys based on the Super Mario franchise.

The news was confirmed on both company’s Twitter accounts today (March 10) – known as Mario Day – with the tagline on Nintendo’s reading ‘Something fun is being built!’

The brief video features an animated question block on Mario’s chest, with LEGO encouraging fans to ‘stay tuned’.

The teaser was met with a raft of speculation from fans of both brands, with a number simply saying ‘take my money!’
