King Features adds to international agent roster

Betty Boop licensor welcomes eight new licensing agents to its portfolio.

King Features – the worldwide licensor for Betty Boop and Popeye among others – has significantly expanded its roster of international agents.

The company has welcomed eight new agents to its portfolio.

These are: Vertical Licensing (Brazil); Segal Licensing (Canada); Medialink (China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia); Licensing Dynamics International (Israel); Asiana Licensing (Korea); Mon Entertainment (Mexico and Latin America for Beetle Bailey, Flash Gordon, Hagar the Horrible and The Phantom); Copyright Licensing Agency (Middle East); and AMV Licencias (Peru).

“We are delighted to welcome our new agents to the King Features family,” said Cathleen Titus, vp international licensing. “We are confident that we will be well positioned for success as we continue to expand our licensing programmes into new merchandising categories and new territories around the world.”
