Kinder Surprise adds to licensed offering

New ‘heroic coloured’ eggs contain DC Super Hero Girls and Justice League toys.

A new line of licensed Kinder Eggs will be launching in time for Easter, featuring DC Super Hero Girls and Justice League toys.

The latest eggs will be backed with a £1.7 million campaign spanning a number of different channels, according to Talking Retail, which also said that the new lines would be ‘heroic-coloured’.

Levi Boorer, customer development director at Ferrero UK, commented: “Kinder Surprise has been the number one kid’s confectionery line in the UK since 2012 with more than 135 million eggs sold every year.

“With our brand equity in strong growth, we are confident these new limited editions will be a popular choice with families, continuing to make this a worthy proposition for retailers.”
