Kiehl’s teams with Mickey for holiday collection

Popular character is face of brand’s annual limited edition charitable holiday range.

Mickey Mouse has been revealed as the face of this year’s Kiehl’s Limited Edition Charitable Holiday collection in the US.

The health and beauty brand has previously collaborated with famous artists for the collection. This year marks the ninth year of the collection, while Mickey is gearing up for a major milestone, having been around since November 18, 1928.

Mickey will adorn various special packs of Kiehl’s products, with the company pledging to donate 100% of the profits from the collection – up to $100,000 – to Feeding America, an organisation which works to feed more than 46 million people around the US through food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.

Chris Salgardo, president of Kiehl’s USA, commented: “I can’t think of a more fitting way to support children and families in need than with this collection featuring Mickey Mouse.

“Disney has been bringing joy to children and families everywhere for generations, and we are honored that this collaboration will raise funds for those with food insecurities, and awareness for the work of Feeding America.

“It’s staggering that one in six children in America do not know where they will get their next meal, and we are humbled that the Kiehl’s community can help do their part to alleviate that uncertainty.”
