Content will include a 200ft inflatable activity experience, a 100 Minecraft and Roblox hub, roller skating arena and an immersive entertainment stage which will feature live performances and meet and greets with a host of talent, acts and stars which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets go on sale this week.

The 2017 Kidtropolis line-up included stars from the hit TV show The Next Step, Flawless, Peppa Pig, PAW Patrol, The Kids Bop Kids, Sooty and YouTube star Ruby Rube.

Kidtropolis director, Gemma Gallagher commented: “We are very excited about this announcement. The plan for Kidtropolis was always to host these great kid’s events in multiple cities and the announcement of the NEC edition has been one we have looked forward to because of our long standing relationship with the venue.

“We are pleased that we are working closely with the NEC Group to develop this event in the Midlands for the coming years.”
