Family event will invite 500 children supported by charity to attend showcase.
Toys, games and family brands event Kidtropolis has named KidsOut as its official charity.
The event – which takes place from October 23-26 at London’s ExCeL – will host a special KidsOut space which will feature a ten-metre Jolly Roger galleon ship from Peter Pan. Children will be able to watch a show, experience a ‘walk the plank’ photo op and have fun with a seven- metre long animatronic crocodile.
Kidtropolis will also be inviting 500 children who are supported by the KidsOut charity to attend the event.
Gordon Moulds, ceo of KidsOut, commented: “This association will allow KidsOut to take hundreds more children on a fun day out over half term, and to highlight to the many visitors the important work in the community KidsOut does without any Government funding.”
Simon Pilling, md of Kidtropolis, added: “What a fantastic charity, supporting children and parents in times of need. KidsOut and Kidtropolis seems to be an obvious partnership and I look forward to supporting the charity for years to come.
“I hope Kidtropolis can offer additional awareness of KidsOut to the visitors and supporters of Kidtropolis and in turn greater support for all their efforts. Of course, we look forward to welcoming the children and parents who KidsOut support, to Kidtropolis in October.”
