KFC partners with Pets Rock brand in China

Restaurant partners with brand to promote its ‘Messy Cola’ drinks launch throughout June.

KFC has partnered with the quirky Pets Rock brand in China, to help promote the launch of its ‘Messy Cola’ drink throughout June.

The quick service restaurant’s ‘messy’ drinks and desserts feature a high amount of chocolate powder and are a popular choice with customers.

Secured by advertising agency Normcore, Pets Rock characters feature across the campaign, which launched with a series of online marketing activities and themed restaurants in the territory.

“We are delighted to be partnering with KFC China on this fun promotional campaign,” commented Kate Polyblank, managing director of the Pets Rock brand. “KFC is one of Chinese consumers most popular dining experiences and has high visibility. We are looking forward to seeing Pets Rock brand awareness soar.”
