Mental health brand, Ketnipz has teamed up with Grupo Erik on the launch of a new back to school stationery range.
The ‘Bean’ character has become synonymous with mental health awareness due to its relatable and uplifting comics created by illustrator, Harry Hambley – also known as Ketnipz.
Bean was created to be an antidote to the negative effects of social media and to encourage artistic expression online and in communities. Since 2017, Bean has collaborated with the likes of Samsung, Lyft, Armani and PopSockets, and has built up a social media following of nine million.
The collaboration with Grupo Erik has seen the creation of calendars, journals, folders and posters. Home accessories will also be launching in 2024.
“We’re very excited to see Bean being sported on so many great products that people can use in their day to day lives,” commented Harry Hambley, illustrator of Bean. “Bean is a character that highlights the weird, playful and sometimes beautiful nature of modern life – with this product range in collaboration with Grupo Erik, we hope to explore and extend this ethos even further.”
Erik de Leeuwerk, ceo at Grupo Erik, continued: “We are very excited to be a part of the development of Ketnipz and Bean brands. We are confident that we can bring the good vibes of their stories to the products that everyone uses in their everyday lives.”
Glue Creative Thinking is busy building the Ketnipz licensing and collaborations portfolio, with a number of further projects in the pipeline.
