Joanna Cassidy to join Max Publishing

Jo Cassidy – who boasts nearly two decades in B2B media, as well as a recent tenure on the licensing agency side – is joining Max Publishing, which owns over 20 media brands across print, digital and events in the consumer products and licensing space.

Jo (pictured) will specifically be working as advertising and sponsorships manager within the Progressive Preschool team at Max Publishing alongside group editor Samantha Loveday, features editor Katie Roberts-Mason, advertising & event manager Jo Pilcher and publisher Rob Willis.

The portfolio includes the bi-monthly print magazine, PreschoolNews.net with its weekly subscriber base of 17,492, as well as the Progressive Preschool Awards which take place on Tuesday 14 November 2023.

Rob Willis, coo and joint owner at Max Publishing, commented: “I am thrilled to have signed Jo to join our team – she is the perfect personality for both our wider business and the Progressive Preschool portfolio specifically. With her extensive experience in business media, along with her many friendships in the trade means she joins us ready to hit the ground running. Jo is also up there with the greats in terms of friendship and kindness, qualities that are vital to our firm.”

Jo added: “I am thrilled to be joining the Max team and even more so to be taking a role within its preschool media division. As a parent of three lovely children, and my heart in B2B media, it’s the perfect combination and I am hugely keen to work with PPS’ amazing client base; I can assure you that I’m there to do the very best for each and every one of them.”

Jo can be contacted on joc@max-publishing.co.uk and will be in attendance at Harrogate International Nursery Fair, Brand Licensing Europe and other shows.
