Toy line for The Jim Henson Company property due to launch in 2016, hitting the US first.
Preschool show Dinosaur Train has a new master toy partner in the shape of Jazwares, after the firm struck a deal with The Jim Henson Company.
Products, including figures and play-sets, will debut in autumn 2016, first in the US and selected international markets. A full international roll out will then follow.
“Children around the world are relating to the characters and storylines featured in Dinosaur Train, and they are experiencing the brand on television, online and through an array of innovative products true to the brand’s essence, which have also earned the trust and support of parents,” said Federico San Martin, VP, global consumer products at The Jim Henson Company.
“Jazwares will translate the fun, whimsical and the educational aspects of the Dinosaur Train brand into products kids desire.”
Laura Zebersky, EVP and chief commercial officer at Jazwares, added: “The new line we create will connect us with fans of the series and bring them a wonderfully unique play experience where they can create their own Dinosaur Train adventures.”
