Jamie Oliver launches Big Love collection with Lifetime Brands at Ambiente

Jamie Oliver was the star attraction at not one, but two special events hosted by Lifetime Brands at Ambiente in Frankfurt last week.

Celebrating the launch of the Jamie Oliver Big Love tableware and serveware collection, the chef and bestselling author joined Lifetime and customers from across the globe at a very special brunch, reported LicensingSource.net’s sister title HousewaresNews.net.

Meeting and greeting both buyers and the press, Jamie was excited to talk through the new Big Love range. Guests were treated to a Q&A, a table styling session and a delicious brunch all served on the brand new Big Love collection. Attracting the crowds and creating a buzz, the brunch was followed by an appearance on the Lifetime stand, where Jamie talked through all things Big Love to a crowd.

Megan Van Someren, chief commercial officer of The Jamie Oliver Group, said: “Big Love is a collection that we are so proud to be bringing to life. Not only does it reflect Jamie’s natural affinity for generosity and feasting family-style. It also captures over 25 years of food styling, photography, traveling and entertaining across his career.

“Bringing together experts from across our business and our brilliant partner, Lifetime Brands, we created a tableware range that offers the simple celebration of a delicious dish. Every piece, beautifully shaped and versatile in how it can be used, is designed to add a bit of Jamie Oliver love to your table.”

Jamie explained how he and his creative team have worked closely with Lifetime Brands to design a range that captures the vibrant yet welcoming personality of the Jamie Oliver brand.

Dishes can be used in multiple ways; the epic roaster is ideal for preparing roast vegetables, meats, lasagnes, casseroles, potatoes and so much more. This versatility is reflected in the names of every piece – from the Pass me platter to the Dishy bowls and Everything plates, each piece meets multiple and different consumer needs.

Matthew Canwell, Lifetime’s president international, commented: “Wow. What a day and one we absolutely won’t forget any time soon. The passion and excitement about Big Love simply radiates from Jamie. For us to be able to celebrate the collection on an international stage in this way was unbeatable. Stand F04 was truly the place to be. Big Love has exceeded all expectations – the response has been incredible. A huge and very special thank you to Jamie for joining us.”
