Jakks Pacific on board with The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Jakks Pacific will be launching a collection of toys inspired by the new Illumination and Nintendo film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie in February.

With the movie arriving in April, the new toy range will include posable figures, accessories, play-sets, plush and a RC from the film.

The collection will launch in the US, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa on 26 February.

“In partnership with Illumination and Nintendo, we have enjoyed collaborating with Jakks Pacific to launch an all-new line of toys for The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” commented Joe Lawandus, svp and gm, global toys, hardlines and publishing at Universal Products & Experiences. “We’re as excited as the fans for the films release and can’t wait for their reaction to our line of film-inspired toys.”

Craig Drobis, svp of marketing at Jakks Pacific, continued: “Jakks Pacific has been excited about working with Illumination, Nintendo and Universal Products & Experiences to develop a line of unique toys for The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
