BBC Worldwide, BuzzFeed, Fashion UK, Finsbury Food, Cartoon Network to take part in annual LIMA UK debate.
Top level executives from BBC Worldwide, BuzzFeed, Fashion UK, Finsbury Food Group and Cartoon Network will be taking part in the annual LIMA UK panel debate at the House of Commons later this year.
This will be the third time that the industry trade body has hosted the event – this year taking place on Monday October 9, the eve of Brand Licensing Europe.
Rikesh Desai, director of licensing, BBC Worldwide; Eric Karp, head of licensing at BuzzFeed; Gurdev Mattu, md of Fashion UK; Lawrence Trist, md of Finsbury Food Group; and Pete Yoder, vp Cartoon Network Enterprises, Cartoon Network will all be taking part.
Entitled Maximising Opportunity in a Multi-Platform Age, the panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing media environment.
Subjects likely to be covered include how brand owners can best break through, how they deal with user-generated content from a marketing and rights standpoint and the metrics that licensees and retailers should use to evaluate properties.
