Over 270 industry executives took to the streets around Embankment and Westminster last night (17 July) for the popular summer treasure hunt in aid of The Light Fund, raising more than £8,000 in the process.
Teams followed a series of clues and performed several challenges – such as taking a selfie outside a theatre – before ending up at the Tattershall Castle boat on the Thames, where the winners, and losers, were crowned.
The winning team was the Consultants who got a perfect score of 50, followed by Rainbow Designs with 46 points and Pokémon with 44 points.
At the other end of the table was the team from Funko with 26 points, while joint second last were Danilo, Poetic Brands (1) and Character.com, all with 28 points.
“Last night saw the annual Light Fund Treasure Hunt take place around the West End of London,” commented Ashley Holman, md at ToyTopic and committee member of The Light Fund. “The support from across the industry was amazing, with over 270 people attending, meaning we raised over £8,000 for charity. No-one got lost in any of the pubs and despite some tricky questions, everyone got respectable scores. Special thanks to our sponsors too.”
