Industry execs to tackle Equinox 24 for The Light Fund

Ten execs to take on 24-hour run in Leicestershire in September.

Ten industry executives are set to take on the Equinox 24 challenge in September in aid of The Light Fund.

Emily Aldridge (GB eye), Ben Woodman (GB eye), Claire Coopland (Sony PlayStation), Emma Benfield (Sony PlayStation), Rob Broadhurst (Aykroyd & Sons), Neil Boote (GB eye), Ben Lowe (Roy Lowe & Sons), Megan Wain (Winning Moves), Lucile Hamiche (Turner) and Nick Coveney (HarperCollins) will form two teams to tackle the 24-hour run, which takes place in Leicestershire on September 22-23.

The goal is for each runner to complete four laps each – covering a minimum of 200km per team.

As part of the preparation, GB eye’s licensing manager Emily and inventory manager Neil (pictured) completed the Round Sheffield Run last month – 15 miles of the “hilliest hills” that Sheffield has to offer, according to Emily.

“GB eye has always been a keen supporter of The Light Fund and as the board loved the idea of the Equinox they were happy to back us on this challenge,” Emily explained to The Source. “Seeing the fantastic achievements of the bike riders this year has been great motivation for us and if we raise a fraction of what they have we will be delighted.”
