With France Licensing Day taking place today (27 June), LicensingSource.net catches up with Lea Dolzani, marketing project manager at Fédération Française de Handball, to find out more on the company’s plans.
Why is France Licensing Day such an important date in your business calendar?
We are onto a new journey with the launch of our licensing programme and France Licensing Day is a chance to make it known and promote our ambition.
How important is the French licensing market to your brand/business?
It is a new business opportunity for the French Handball Federation. It is a way to connect back with our fans and supporters to meet their needs, but also a great opportunity to talk to new audiences and introduce them to handball.
What brands will you be bringing to the event?
We are now in the process of creating our brand(s) through our assets and athletes. Currently it is expressed through different textile collections under the holistic FFHandball brand, and a twist when it comes to lifestyle (HNDBLL).
What’s new? What will FLD attendees find out about your brands they may not already know.
We are launching a new and bespoke licensing programme, and with it as many opportunities to extend our brand ecosystem – whether it is through the classical textile approach, or directed towards a more young audience with a dedicated ‘kid’ offering (editions, games, school, etc). The opportunities are here and we would love to discuss it with them.”
