BLE New Exhibitor Focus: Edutainment Licensing

We find out what properties the new agency will be bringing to Olympia.

The Source highlights a selection of the first time exhibitors and newcomers who will be on the show floor at this year’s Brand Licensing Europe.

Today: Edutainment Licensing (G25)

Can you sum up your company and what you do in one handy paragraph?

Edutainment Licensing is a London-based independent agency with a tailor made approach to the licensing business specialising in properties that are both educational and entertaining, especially those intended for children in their early years.

Why did you decide to exhibit at BLE this year?

All the properties that I represent are new to licensing so it seemed the perfect event for them to launch at. The show is the biggest in Europe and attracts so many visitors making it the perfect place for face to face meetings over the three days.

What will you be showcasing on your stand and what kind of visitors will you be looking to attract?

We are showcasing:

Arty Mouse

Arty Mouse is a small character who is big on creativity and he and his friends introduce simple creative skills, enabling children aged three to six years to express what they see in the world around them through creative exploration and discovery.

Tiny Tusks

Tiny Tusks is a brand born out of the love for Elephants and the wider environment – its focus is a delightful family of elephants and friends that younger children will adore and enjoy getting to know.

Super Geek Heroes

Super Geek Heroes is a new animated series introduced to educate and entertain children while enhancing their development through early years.

KidsOut

KidsOut is the Fun And Happiness Charity and the official charity of BLE 2016. Through their amazing charity and life-changing work, KidsOut aims to give disadvantaged children positive experiences to support them becoming future members of our society.

We are looking to meet with potential licensing partners, with manufacturers and retailers.

What are you most looking forward to about BLE?

We are really looking forward to hearing and seeing the reaction to the brands in terms of feedback and comments.

What would you most like to achieve by exhibiting at BLE this year?

To meet with potential partners in key categories, to introduce them to the brands and ultimately secure licences for all of them. Super Geek Heroes has been shortlisted as a finalist in the License This competition so it would be great if they were to go on and become the overall winner.

Brand Licensing Europe runs from October 11-13 at London’s Olympia. Head to the official website – www.brandlicensing.eu – to find out more and to register to attend.
