In case you missed it: Catch up on our Featuring… Gaming special focus

In the second of our series of Featuring… monthly specials from LicensingSource.net, we shone the spotlight on the gaming industry.

According to Ukie, the trade association for the UK’s games and interactive entertainment industry, in 2021 the UK consumer games market was worth £7.16bn, having risen 1.9% since 2020, the height of the pandemic.

Ukie’s valuation report, compiled by its insight and innovation team with the support of its data partners and published in March this year, revealed that sales of game hardware rose by a significant 17.4% between 2020 and 2021 to reach £2.66bn.
