‘Licensees are keen to capitalise on The Crystal Maze’s popularity’ says Bulldog’s Rob Corney.
Imagine8 has become the latest licensee to join The Crystal Maze programme.
The company has signed up to create FSDUs with a range of Crystal Maze-branded product.
Licensing agency for the brand, Bulldog Licensing has also secured Poetic Brands for an adult apparel line which is launching this month, as well as Rascals (games and puzzles) and The Hut (mugs, notebooks, coasters, cushions and pillows).
In addition, recent ads for PayPal and Specsavers have both featured the brand, while the Co-op has been using the theme song.
“The Crystal Maze is back with a bang and licensees are keen to capitalise on its popularity,” enthused Rob Corney, md of Bulldog Licensing. “There’s a big buzz surrounding this property and I’m sure we’ll be making further announcements soon.”
The Crystal Maze originally aired on Channel 4 from 1990 to 1995 before returning as a successful Stand Up To Cancer celebrity special in 2016. A full series followed and it is now Channel 4’s number one entertainment show.
The Crystal Maze Live Experiences in London and Manchester have also been a sell out success.
