IFL Science partners with Global Merchandise

Expansion on cards as company appoints exclusive licensing and retail agent for UK.

IFL Science is aiming to further expand its brand in the licensing space – appointing Global Merchandise as its exclusive licensing and retail agent for UK and Eire markets.

Global’s remit is to bring IFL to the masses, and the company will be targeting product categories including apparel, homewares accessories, soft line accessories, stationery, toys and games and electronic goods.

“We are so thrilled to be working with such an amazing company and to be taking the IFL Science brand to the UK market,” Michele Kuprewicz, IFL’s merchandise manager, told The Source.

“IFL Science was first formed in 2012 by Elise Andrews and started out as a Facebook page. Now, with 23 million followers worldwide and growing, following this success of the brand and online store it was only natural to expand into licensing and wider retail.

“Partnering with Global Merchandise will now allow us to do just that.”

The company has already begun to produce new artwork and designs for use by licensees and retailers, and is hoping to have products roll out this year.

Michele continued: “Global Merchandise are so highly successful with all the brands they have worked with, so to be part of that is just amazing.”
