Hut Group, The Entertainer named in Profit Track 100

Annual Sunday Times report rates Britain’s private companies with fastest growing profits.

The Hut Group and The Entertainer have both been named in The Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 – its annual listing of Britain’s private companies with the fastest growing profits.

Online retailer The Hut Group is at number six on the listing – it previously ranked at number one for the past two years.

Meanwhile, toy retailer The Entertainer is at number 50. Aided by new store openings, profits hit £8.6 million last year, with 10% being donated to charitable causes.

Other companies with interests in the licensing space making the list included toy manufacturer John Adams (number 90) and sex toys retailer Lovehoney (number 94), which is a finalist in the Product category at next week’s Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards.
