HRD welcomes Thunderbirds Are Go to stable

3D soft toy specialist also eyeing deals with Virgin Atlantic and Marmite.

Ambitious 3D soft toy specialist High Resolution Design is strengthening its ties with the licensed plush market, adding a new line of Thunderbirds Are Go toys to its portfolio.

The company has secured an exclusive licensing partnership with ITV Studios Global Entertainment for the line, which is expected to hit retail for autumn/winter.

This marks the latest in a line of licences to be picked up by the company, which only launched 14 months ago.

It already has collections based on the London Underground, Royal Mail and London Taxi Company.

“Our licensing programme has gained a lot of momentum since Spring Fair,” Joel Berkowitz, founder of HRD, told The Source.

“We are currently negotiating licensing partnerships with Virgin Atlantic and Marmite brands and are now working on a special deal with ITV Studios for a line of Thunderbirds Are Go plush toys.

“The next move will be continuing to promote the brand new toy range to retailers and wholesalers looking for something they haven’t seen before. Small independents love our products and we are looking to reach major department stores in the UK as well as toy stores.

“There is a lot coming up for us this year and we are very proud to be working with some of the most famous British heritage brands.”
