HRD to launch raft of new licences at UK Toy Fair

Thunderbirds Are Go, Pringles among properties on display at Olympia.

High Resolution Design will be unveiling a raft of new licensed lines at next week’s UK Toy Fair.

The licensee is exhibiting at the show – which runs from January 24-26 at London’s Olympia – for the first time.

Already known for its London Underground, London Taxi Company and Royal Mail 3D plush toys, the company has now added Big Ben and a British Heritage Car to the British icon plush line-up.

In addition, last year saw it sign a licence with ITV for the first Thunderbirds Are Go plush toys, and HRD will be showing Thunderbird 5 plush for the first time at the event.

Joel Berkowitz, director at High Resolution Design, told The Source: “We have signed a major new licensing partnership that we will be launching at the show with Pringles with 3D Pringles Can Storage Plush Toys which we are really excited about.

“We are also launching our cruise ship plush toy, emergency services plush toys and our British pop-up telephone box play tents.”

Joel called Toy Fair “the funnest, most exciting exhibition” of the calendar and the company is certainly looking to make an impact.

“We are hoping to bring to market the very finest 3D replica plush toys, play tents and stationary designed in London – that focus attention to pure quality and detail which allow for realistic playtime come bedtime,” Joel continued. “The plush toys encourage role-play but also make great cuddle buddies and we can’t wait to show them at Toy Fair 2017.”
