Hot Topic launches Suicide Squad fashion line

US retailer partnered with WBCP and DC Entertainment for 15-piece collection.

US retailer Hot Topic has unveiled its 15-piece Suicide Squad fashion line, ahead of the eagerly anticipated movie’s arrival at cinemas.

Hot Topic partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment for the collection, which it showcased for the first time at Comic-Con last week.

The range includes sweaters, jackets, dresses, skinny pants, shorts, tank tops, coats and blazers for men and women.

Prices range from $34.90 up to $89.

All the pieces were inspired by fan favourite character looks from Suicide Squad.

“Can you think of a better collaboration than Suicide Squad and Hot Topic?” said Cindy Levitt, senior vp of merchandising and marketing at Hot Topic.

“The look and feel of the film is so signature Hot Topic, it made it hard to narrow down the designs that made it to the final collection.

“Our wonderful partners at Warner Bros. Consumer Products gave our team unprecedented access, which resulted in a level of detail you have to see to believe.”

As well as the fashion line, Hot Topic is also offering a wide range of Suicide Squad merchandise including tees, accessories, collectables and gifts.

Suicide Squad is due to hit cinemas on Friday August 5.
