Host of licensed names shine in Dream Toys 2017 list

Hatchimals, L.O.L Surprise, PAW Patrol, PJ Masks, LEGO BB-8 all make top 12 toys.

A raft of licensed products have been named in this year’s Dream Toys listing today (November 8).

The Toy Retailers Association listing – which is decided by a panel of leading toy retailers – aims to provide consumers with expert insight into what will be the most popular toys this Christmas.

The list is broken down into eight categories – Build It, Make It, Do It; Games Galore; Licensed to Thrill; Lights, Camera, Action; Little Treasures; My Best Friend; Top of the Tots; and The Christmas ‘Wow’ Boxes – from which the top 12 are then chosen.

Licensed lines making the top 12 this year are Hatchimals Surprise (Spin Master), L.O.L Surprise Series 2 (MGA), PAW Patrol Sea Patroller (Spin Master), PJ Masks Headquarters Play-set (Flair) and Star Wars BB8 (LEGO).
