Bomanbridge Media to distribute several of the company’s shows in the territory.
Hoho Rights – the commercial arm of kids’ production company, Hoho Entertainment – has secured a deal with Singapore-based Bomanbridge Media to distribute several of its shows in Asia.
The deal covers all forms of TV, VOD, non-theatrical rights for Asia (including India) for Hoho’s kids’ shows Shane the Chef, Little Luke and Lucy, Cloudbabies, Abadas, Everybody Loves a Moose and Hana’s Helpline.
The deal is Hoho’s latest success in the Asian market following the recent collaboration with The Media Pioneers which generated a five-year deal with two of China’s biggest VOD platforms, Tencent Video and MangoTV, for Hana’s Helpline.
“We are delighted to be teaming up with Bomanbridge Media, whose expertise and flair will help to bring our much-loved shows to an even wider audience,” said Helen Howells, joint md of Hoho Entertainment. “With universal themes to enthral and entertain children while nurturing their development, we are sure these shows will be as popular in Asia as they are elsewhere in the world.”
Sonia Fleck, ceo of Bomanbridge Media, added: “Bomanbridge Media is excited to be working with Hoho Entertainment’s fantastic kids’ catalogue for licensing across Asia. We are looking forward to the hands on collaboration on their newest success story, Shane The Chef.
“We wholeheartedly support the concept of this lovely show and think that the show’s focus on fresh, healthy food and cooking will resonate with Asian broadcasters.”
