High profile brands honoured at LIMA Awards night

V&A, Five Nights at Freddy’s, DC Super Hero Girls, Finsbury Foods among winners.

The 2017 winners of the LIMA International Licensing Awards were crowned last night (Tuesday May 23) in a glittering ceremony to round off the first successful day of Licensing Expo.

Big winners included Warner Bros. Consumer Products, which racked up a trio of accolades. Hot Topic was named Retailer of the Year for Suicide Squad, while V&A picked up the Art & Design award and Finsbury Foods won for its Shopkins Cupcake Queen Cake in the Food & Beverage category.

“This year’s award winners represent world-class licensing programs and products from around our global industry,” said LIMA president Charles Riotto. “We are proud to recognise and honour the achievements of these companies – chosen from a record 461 submissions this year – for their impressive initiatives and outstanding results.”
