Hey Duggee joins BBC’s ‘Staying Home’ campaign

BBC Studios’ preschool character is latest addition to broadcaster’s series of shorts.

Preschool character Hey Duggee is the latest addition to the BBC’s series of shorts on TV and social media, encouraging UK residents to stay in their homes following government advice on COVID-19.

Shorts to date have included appropriately themed footage from Miranda, The Thick of It, The Mighty Boosh and I’m Alan Partridge.

Hey Duggee – The Stay at Home Badge was edited together using existing animation and with a new voiceover recorded by Alexander Armstrong from his home.

The video has aired on CBeebies and has been posted across its social channels, as well as on the Hey Duggee social channels.

It notched up over 7,000 views on the Hey Duggee YouTube channel in less than 24 hours.
