Her Universe takes the wraps off Tomb Raider line

Lifestyle brand launches its first ever gaming fashion collection.

Fangirl fashion and lifestyle brand, Her Universe has revealed its first ever gaming collection, inspired by the Tomb Raider franchise.

The expansion into timing will be timed to coincide with the launch of Shadow of the Tomb Raider from Square Enix on September 14.

The initial line will consist of seven pieces – created by designer and gamer Hannah Kent, one of the winners of the 2016 Her Universe Fashion Show – all with the ice axe badge as the logo.

“Her Universe is a community for all fans and venturing into gaming has been a dream of mine for years,” said founder Ashley Eckstein. “I’ve always had the rule that I would not design for a property unless I could design it from a fan perspective, so the designs are authentic.

“Once I met Hannah, and discovered her love for Lara Croft, I knew that I had found the right designer for our first video game collection. This is just the beginning for Her Universe and gaming.”

Hannah added: “Lara Croft has been one of video game’s most iconic female protagonists for over 20 years, which is what makes Tomb Raider being Her Universe’s first video game franchise the perfect choice.”

The collection will be available at HotTopic.com and HerUniverse.com.
