British fashion designer collaborating with Habitat on first interiors collection.
British fashion designer Henry Holland is to launch his first interiors collection next month, after teaming with Habitat for a new collaboration.
The limited edition designs will feature a series of artwork from the SS16 House of Holland season translated across both textiles and upholstery.
The collection will launch at Habitat London flagship stores and online from May.
In a piece on the Habitat blog, Henry said: “I’m so excited to be working on my first interiors range with Habitat.
“I recently bought my first house and am really getting into soft furnishings these days, so luckily this project has come just at the right time. It’s been a lot of fun translating our SS16 collection for a different creative industry, taking our 1970’s psychedelic, hallucinatory prints from the catwalk and working with new materials and techniques specifically for the home. I can’t wait for you to see it.”
Henry’s designs are well known for their London girl aesthetic and he is inspired by the variety of attitudes, cultures and mind-sets that exist throughout the capital.
The House of Holland label is stocked in key premium stockists including the likes of Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Matches and Galeries Lafayette.
