Fashion brand to create adult apparel line featuring character.
Sanrio has revealed the latest collaboration with the Hello Kitty brand – with fashion label Pinko creating an adult apparel line.
The deal will see the launch of a range of Hello Kitty outerwear and accessories line including t-shirts, sweaters, cardigan, jackets, bombers and fashion bags with the character image appearing in a ‘unique and original’ way.
The collection will launch for spring/summer 2018 and will be available in 180 Pinko stores worldwide, as well as over 1,500 corners located across department stores.
Pietro Negra, president at Pinko, said: “Hello Kitty is an iconic brand and we wanted to reinterpret its glam side the Pinko way – something we aim to do in all of our collaborations.”
Moris Calasso, licensing director at Sanrio, added: “Sanrio is thrilled to collaborate with Cris Conf [the owner of Pinko] and Pinko which is a very popular brand known worldwide.
“We are all excited to see the collection in-store and sure it will be appealing to every woman who wants to look both contemporary and stylish.”
