Footwear brand reveals second collaboration with Sanrio, spotlighting more characters including Bad Badtz-Maru, Kerokerokeroppi and My Melody.
Dr. Martens is joining forces with Sanrio once more, with a new collection spotlighting more of the company’s characters including Bad Badtz-Maru, Kerokerokeroppi and My Melody among others.
The new collection follows on from the successful collaboration with Hello Kitty last year, which marked both companies 60th anniversary.
The new range includes a fresh take on the 1460 boot, enhanced with characters and a red bow graphic. The boots come with two sets of laces – red or white – and are detailed with a three-colour puritan stitch in Teal, Yellow and Pink and matching colour pop eyelets. Yellow welt stitching and an AirWair heel loop mark them as DMs.
Also headlining is the Jadon boot, an ‘amped up’ evolution of the 8-eye silhouette, built on a stacked Quad platform sole.
The Hello Kitty Jadon has colourful upper stitching, four different colour eyelets and Sabrio motifs, as well as a side zip with a Hello Kitty red bow zip pull.
Completing the adult collection is the Original 3-eye show, the 1461, detailed with a colourful all-over print with characters from the Hello Kitty and Friends family.
The new lines are all due to launch in March.
